Good Monitor
Reasonably lightweight. Stand is a slight bit on the flimsy side but not overly. Like the size because I spend a lot of time on my computer for work and leisure. Picture is good, but I don’t do any gaming or high graphic stuff. Been using it for 3 months now with no issues. It was a good buy for the price, and I am happy with it.

Plug and go!
This came super fast to my door step and after a click and a click of the stand and then a plug into my laptop, it was up and running. Easy peasy. Also, working great with the wireless mouse and keyboard plugged into the laptop. No lag or delay. The screen is beautiful and clear and it was an affordable monitor. Should have purchased sooner for home office.

Good value for the money
This monitor will NOT satisfy gaming needs. It is great for day-to-day in home or office tasks.The picture quality is adjustable and suitable for the tasks I mentioned. It does however get a little bit “murkey” while streaming tv/movies. You can ajust for this which does help a little bit. Over all, this is not a deal breaker for me, as I am not a gamer though I do alot of streaming – tv/movies. The brightness and contrast could be somewhat better, but it is OK for my needs. I do NOT recommend this monitor for gamers. It has a small “footprint” and does not take up alot of your deskspace. It is very easy to assemble. You can download the user guide and read through the “ins-outs” of operation and ajustments to this monitor.

The monitor was easy to set up. I bought this because the monitor on my Dell laptop was damaged. The new monitor is easy to use and big enough to accomadate my failing eyesight. I’ve been using it for about one month.

HDMI ports ONLY
I have dual monitor setups using these with a Dell docking station, one setup in my home office and one setup in my office office. Now, onto the annoying stuff:One would think these would be compatible right out of the box with whatever Dell dock you have, right? LOL NO. You can’t use two HDMI hookups with the dock for a dual monitor set up. It’s either two DisplayPort or one DisplayPort and one HDMI. It’s annoying and I always need to go out to find another cord since these monitors only have HDMI ports, which is silly.Other than that, these monitors are perfectly fine. Nothing insane, but they get the job done.

Good monitor for the money
This monitor is completely acceptable. For the Pro’s: It’s a Full HD (1080p) monitor, supports both HDMI and VGA inputs, and is able to be mounted . The Con’s: It’s only 1080p, which is sufficient as long as this is the only monitor you’re using. Compared to Other More expensive montior’s there is a noticable difference in brightness, contrast and saturation. I bought this as a 2nd monitor and while it will work for what I need. Overall, would recommend

Nice budget monitor
For the price and decent reputation that Dell monitors have, this is a nice budget monitor. Setup was plug and play. In addition, the stand installation was the easiest we’ve experienced. The screen itself performs adequately. Really the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was we can’t seem to make it bright enough during daylight hours compared to other monitors.

DELL SE2422HX 24″ monitor is a nice upgrade replacing my previous DELL monitor.
The DELL SE2422HX 24 inch monitor was purchased to replace an old DELL monitor that would no longer turn on due to issues with the power button. The screen is larger than my previous monitor which was easy to get used to. I was impressed with the way it was packaged. It definitely insured safe shipping. Set up was fairly easy. No written instructions though; only picture instructions. The pictures step by step showed how to remove the monitor carefully from the box and assemble the base. Only one step of the picture instructions caused me some confusion. It was the step for attaching the base to the monitor. But with scrutiny I was able to understand and had the monitor ready for use. The monitor came with a VGA cable and an HDMI cable so that made it easy to be up and running in a short amount of time. I consider myself lacking in “tech support” understanding, but all in all I had the monitor up and running within approximately a half an hour. I didn’t do much comparison shopping, but to me, this monitor is worth the $128 price.

Beautiful Monitor, and So Easy to Set Up
My large screen monitor gave out after an electrical storm, so I needed a new one fast.The Dell monitor is excellent – nice and large, clear and sharp, exactly what I needed. It was SO SO EASY to set up. The parts fit together solidly in a snap, everything worked like a breeze.I’m very happy with this monitor.

Good, with a minor issue…
I bought this for my mother in law to pair with a newer pc.She says colors are vibrant and smooth.This minor issue is the absence of a DisplayPort input, and there was no adapter included in the package. As a result, I had no choice but buy one at Best Buy.

Beware of resolution
The description states this is a monitor with a 75Hz refresh rate. The truth is this monitor’s maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz (16:9 aspect ratio). This is MISLEADING!

Love it!
I loved this monitor. Used it in my class last year as my second monitor. Because of its size, I could see nearly the whole class on Goguardian at one time. The school monitor was just too small. I prefer Dell products and this Dell monitor was great!

Works when it wants to work
I wanted to use those as my 2nd monitor and since I’ve had it, it only works when it wants to work, very annoying when trying to work from home on certain days. Unless there’s a solution, I do not recommend.Update- I changed my review from 1 star to 4, I did some research and ordered a different HDMI input cord and it worked, the screen now stays on and doesn’t blink in and out anymore, fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Decent
I bought this “used” for $92 instead of the new price of $140, or about 2/3 of the regular price. It arrived perfectly clean and un-nicked and it fired up perfectly fine. Install took roughly two minutes and it was almost entirely used up by the windows routine for arranging three monitors to play well together. In other words, a piece of cake. Portrait mode is a bust; don’t waste your time. All in all just a good simple decent monitor.Just a wee bit flimsy: plastic is thin thin thin and the base wobbles a bit much..

Using for work, not a gamer, so this monitor is an outstanding value for the price
I had an older 24″ monitor which was showing its age in terms of reduced brightness and color “fading”. So, I spent the eighty bucks for this one, and am very satisfied. The colors are great and the screen is bright. I can’t speak to refresh or responsiveness for gaming, since I don’t play games aside from Poker and Golf now and then. I just use this for work. I do see people mentioning the lack of speakers, but that too is not an issue for me since I use a headset or my computer’s built in speakers if I need sound. If I was a cost-conscious IT manager for a company, I would absolutely consider these monitors for everyone in my office.

Great product
A nice product. One thing that could make it even better is to make the screen adjustment, ie, color, birghtness, contrast etc more straightforward, or have a few preset positions that a customer can choose. Not everyone is interested in going into so many details to adjust the viewing preference. iPhone ‘s screen is preset and works great.

Immediately replaced flimsy plastic stand
I have a lot of Dell products so I knew I would find this monitor reasonably priced and suitable for general viewing. However, found that the included plastic stand was flimsy and allowed the monitor to wiggle. Instead ordered a more robust metal stand from Amazon.

Bought this to replace the one that died. All good except the picture is not nearly as sharp and colors are meh. Can’t adjust it any better. Does not have HDR. I guess that’s the difference. Live and learn.

The monitor itself is great, no problems with that. Unfortunately I wasn’t paying close attention when purchasing and failed to notice that the stand and attachment arm completely unadjustable. Returned it for one that is adjustable.

No setup, just plug it in!
I don’t know much about computers so I can’t give a technical review but I can definitely vouch for this monitor being super simple to hook up! I just plugged it into the wall with the power cord and into my laptop with the usb cord and boom, it worked instantly.Nothing to “install”, no downloads, no list of puzzling questions for settings, nothing. Didn’t even need to read the instructions. Just plug it in, push the power button, done. In addition to the laptop I use a wireless mouse and a wired full size keyboard and everything worked together perfectly.The monitor image is clear and crisp, no distortions.I hope this review is helpful for my fellow computer-illiterate friends who are leery of trying to hook things up!

Economical No-Frills Monitor
This is one of the best prices I have seen for a large monitor. It delivered a clear, high-res image and worked as designed. It doesn’t have a mic or camera built-in, but that was to be expected at this low price. People needing a second computer monitor wouldn’t need a mic or camera if their primary monitor already had one.Dell makes a good product, and you will enjoy this monitor.

Okay, but a couple things to consider.
This is an okay monitor but a couple things to consider.1. The obvious, it’s a 1920 x 1080 res.. The screen res just feels too large when performing tasks related to video and music editing. You will feel like you still need more real estate for editing. Consider a higher res monitor that enables you to see more of the timeline.2. I didn’t know Dell made “economy” level products. In other words, the plastic on this monitor feels cheap and it is. You can easily twist the bezel plastic from the screen – seriously it’s that thin. I didn’t try to do this on purpose, but simply noticed the thin plastic tilting the monitor.3. This is not a height adjustable monitor. It only offers tilt. With that said, this monitor is too high compared to my other monitors.Image QualityIts decent, bright, colorful, and really not that bad. Text looks good too. I didn’t notice any pixilation with various fonts. Albeit, I only had this monitor for a few days before returning. I’ll explain why I returned this monitor next.Refresh RateSo this is listed as capable of a 75 Mhz refresh rate. We’ll that didn’t happen. I tried a couple different cables to make sure I didn’t have a bad cable, and no it’s not my graphic card. I have a sweet fully loaded MBP that is more than capable of driving a monitor… M1 Max processor, 32 core GPU, 64 Gig memory, and a 4 TB SSD.ConclusionFor the price it’s a decent monitor. Just keep in mind the plastic is thin around the bezel, and this is a 1920 x 1080 res monitor and because of this you may feel like you need more real estate when working with video and audio timelines; at this point consider a higher res monitor.I figured I’d give this 1920 x 1080 res monitor a try knowing it was likely not going to work for me. As a result, I returned it because I was looking for a primary replacement monitor. I ended up purchasing a 3840 x 2160 res monitor that is capable of delivering the technical capability I am used to.
